When we were going to Florence, everyone was making a list of places we had to visit. Okay, but you can't see everything in a few hours. We plan to return to this charming place on our own and to see ... everything. This time we decided to get lost in the narrow streets, and also to see places that the average tourist will not see. This is where we ate the most delicious pizza, of which we had the opportunity to try in Italy. It will not be a typical guide to Florence, it will be a Florence that you do not know yet.
Coming to Florence we came across beautiful weather. I can safely say that the heat was pouring from the sky - there were 33 degrees! Visiting at such a temperature was a challenge for us. Fortunately, we had a lot of fruit and water, which was provided by the wonderful Hotel Doge in Milano Marittima. If anyone has not read the post about Milano Marittima, be sure to do it now, because Milano Marittima is the perfect place for an Italian holiday. Not only the place itself made a great impression on us, but also the hotel where we stayed. We haven't met such cordial people for a long time.
Returning to Florence, we can safely say that this is the most charming place of all that we visited in Italy. We were terrified only by the huge number of tourists, who sometimes had to squeeze through (in some places we waited 15-20 minutes to take a picture). This was one of the reasons why we separated from our tour group and decided to explore Florence in our own way. We saw beautiful places, we took over 400 photos, we ate a delicious pizza ... can you imagine a better day in Italy?
Yes, it could be better. While in Florence, we couldn't go to the Chanel boutique in Piazza della Signoria. I'd love to go out with the whole store, but this time nothing caught my eye enough to buy it.
As you go to the Chanel boutique, be sure to find the best ice cream we've ever had (standing straight to the Chanel boutique on the right). Just be sure to ask for the single version, because we couldn't eat the big one with Piotr! The portion was HUGE !!! We especially recommend fig ice cream, which is really delicious. The melon was bland and not very good. Interestingly, all fruit and dark chocolate sorbets (in Italy sorbets are completely different than sorbets in Poland) are vegan. We had paradise in Italy when it comes to ice cream.
I decided to visit Florence in a checkered Indis dress from Marie Zélie. It is not only very comfortable, airy, but also charming (the bow at the waist is really very cute). When I wear this dress in Warsaw (the check is perfect for autumn!) I immediately remember our Italian holiday and a trip to Florence. This is an extremely nice memory that I will forever associate with this dress.
In Florence, you can find several stores with handmade leather shoes. They are not only extremely beautiful, but I suspect that they are also very durable. Moccasins caught my attention, but also those long, tied low-heeled shoes (on the right).
The post was created in cooperation with the Marie Zélie brand.
