I take what I can

Recently, I have been browsing a lot of blogs, especially through curly-haired blogs and homeless people. I was inspired by some thought about some blogs. I would like to share my thoughts with you.
cosmetics

I started blogging in 2009 on blog.pl. Initially, maybe 30 people entered the blog, very few people even knew about the existence of the D&P blog. A few years later, when I met P., we decided that we were moving to blogspot.com and that P. would create a Men's Department in which he would review cosmetics for men.
It was a time when I was a bit overwhelmed with cooperation, I literally took what I could. A cold shower was a review of herbal hair dye for me. The company from which I received the product for testing did not like that I wrote a negative review. It was the moment when I said "stop".
I began to analyze my previous cooperation. I also analyzed products that I tested with joy and those that I tested without too much emotion.
Of course, more than once it happened to me that a product that did not arouse great enthusiasm in me turned out to be very cool. But also that he was also hopeless. I have never hidden it in my reviews, which cosmetics companies have not always liked.
Today, when I receive test suggestions, I wonder twice. First of all, whether the product fits e.g. my skin type. I don't see any satisfaction in testing a dry skin product when I have mixed skin. If the product does not suit me or I am not interested, I politely reply that I do not want to test it.
Once I heard something from a friend that hurt me a lot: "It's nice to be a blogger because you have cosmetics for free." I do not treat the blog in the category of free cosmetics. For me it is more a desire to share with others on a topic that is close to me.
For review, I was inspired by the blog of one of the girls who has a whole bunch of advertising banners, as well as her review, which from the beginning seemed to me not very honest. No details about the product, actually an opinion about nothing, and finally in the summary everything to the max, normally a perfect product. In addition, thanks to the company that it could test the product. Unfortunately, every second note on her blog looks the same. With the same (plus / minus 0,5 points) rating.
The unreliable review meant that I would not return to her blog anymore. Unfortunately, other girls are coming back, unaware that this blogger is taking everything as she falls. I would not be surprised if I saw on her blog a review of tablets for constipation or other equally absurd product that I received for testing.
What do you think about testing everything as it falls? Don't you notice that there are more and more low-value bloggers counting only on free cosmetics?

It annoys me the most when I get cosmetics without first agreeing with me on what face to be. Secondly, some companies are surprised / outraged when I refuse to cooperate. Unfortunately, I also found myself taking everything. Almost everything. Then no joy at all. Reviews need to be written. And how do you test several creams at once?

oh, I've seen such blogs, even reviews of herrings and tablecloths appeared on such 'cosmetic' blogs: D

He rejects me from blogs, which are an advertising column.
I had little cooperation, I took several suggestions that interested me a lot. I started a blog a few years ago and there was no cooperation at all, blogs were run with passion and not for profit.

I don't like blogs, where there are a billion banners, etc. especially when they are mobile. Jesus, a nightmare, you can't focus on the note at all.

While testing free cosmetics on the cosmetics blog doesn't bother me, e.g. water filters or washing capsules already. It also depends a lot on the way you write, the critical approach to the product, not just ocher and achy.

As who likes. If it is matched to the topic of the blog, why not? For me, the blog has a perfect Housewife department, where I also review products for cleaning, washing, etc .;)

I do not like and do not go to such blogs 😉

I have never cooperated with anyone and I don't plan to do it in the near future. I plan one review for it, but it will be my real opinion about the cosmetics. I like to read such opinions myself and not the opinions typically from cooperation.

Unfortunately, there are quite a few blogs that were created only for free testing of cosmetics, but reading a review is fairly easy to catch it.

Definitely, especially if you look at some notes and notice that they are actually identical ...

I used to have the same thing as you, anyway, I think each of us had it ... I used to write it to every company because I want something because I liked it so much, and now? Jesus, I have this so much that it is slowly beginning to overwhelm me ... and it is not even the point that they continue to flood me with free things, but I want to test something myself and buy it myself ^^ and I have my cosmetics cabinets full; D I still miss embracing and not buying what I have because it is on promotion

It's a matter of time and finding cosmetics that will suit you. I also had it, e.g. I don't buy a face cleansing product other than cetaphil or a cream other than BB Dr. G. I found ideals and I don't buy anything else.

You have raised a very interesting topic. I receive many suggestions but I carefully choose only products that I think are worth testing. I also don't care what the cosmetics brand thinks, if I speak negatively about a given product, and it happened sometimes. Difficult. I often refuse politely, because I do not want to agree to anything I want, just write about what I find interesting. Greetings:-)

It's good that there are still such bloggers :) I will know where to look!

??? and…. because I don't really understand ... why a blogger should read the opinions of another blogger about a product, if she can test it herself?
you describe your regrets here, not any observations or thoughts, just empty words, full of bitterness, unless you have regrets that you are not testing everything anymore, what will fall into your hands

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 26 October 2014 / 10: 38

Not every blogger tests the same thing as another one, which is why other blogs are very inspiring because you can find something for yourself.
There is currently a flood of bloggers who take everything for testing. I have a complexion and I take the product for dry skin? What's up It is important that it be reviewed. For me it is sorry because when I started to run a blog sponsored reviews there were few, and blogs seemed to be more honest. It is a pity that you did not subscribe to your statement, it is a pity that you do not have enough courage. Or maybe this post hurt you because you're such a blogger yourself?

I will not tolerate vulgar comments on my blog, which is why I deleted your comment.

I noticed it too and I don't like it very much. I have been blogging for a year and a half and I have established one cooperation. The product just came to my needs and I'm glad I had the opportunity to test it. All the reviews I post are honest and carefully prepared, and I buy cosmetics myself for hard-earned money. I noticed that many girls set up blogs just to get free cosmetics, which is unpleasant and very demotivating. An interesting entry, provokes reflection 😉

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 26 October 2014 / 10: 35

Unfortunately, more and more bloggers are setting up blogs, because "blogger is to be fun, because you get cosmetics for free".

    • Avatar Kate's Beautyland 26 October 2014 / 10: 44

Yes and it is terrible. I started a blog because I wanted to have my place where I can share my opinion on cosmetics and not bother my husband with talking about them. I'm glad you wrote about it 😉

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 26 October 2014 / 10: 46

It's nice that someone supports my statement. It is a pity that such blogs will not disappear, but will continue to clutter the beauty blogosphere.

    • Avatar Kate's Beautyland 26 October 2014 / 11: 10

Thanks. I was supposed to add you to the watch list, but I noticed you added a note about the problems 🙁

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 26 October 2014 / 12: 22

Unfortunately, we are struggling with a subscription that fails after changing the template. How something "observers" work :)

  12. Avatar Danccer 26 October 2014 / 09: 47

You are absolutely right, I also choose those blogs that can write a reliable review of a given product. :)

  13. Avatar GoodForYouDP 26 October 2014 / 08: 22

I agree in 100%. For many people, preparing a post seems to be something quite simple. Not necessarily. You have to put your thoughts into words, take pictures and, above all, test the thing. Sometimes I get the impression that some posts are written on the basis of other blogs. You don't like the cosmetic? Say it!

  14. Avatar Anna / Kosmetykoholizm 26 October 2014 / 08: 07

You know what ... In my opinion, for those who really read it is clear which blogs are valuable. There are blogs that I even visit, although there are plenty of viewers. It depends on the reasons for starting a blog.
Cooperation? They are great, but on my terms, because my blog is my place on the web.
What if someone thinks I have something for free? Oh no! My time is very valuable and I have to devote a lot of it to photos, post preparation and above all to the most pleasant - getting to know the cosmetics 😉
