Korean beauty secrets
(Secrets of the beauty of Korean women, Asian cosmetics)

For the huge test packet from Mizon Polska, I received the book 'Secrets of the beauty of Korean women'. I wanted to read it for a long time, because the perfect skin of the Korean women did not give me peace. How do they do that without wrinkles? That even in middle age they manage to preserve their youthful appearance? The secret is in care.

The book is written in a very light style, thanks to which it is read quickly. In addition, it has pictures that clearly show some complexion problems. Thanks to the book, I learned about multi-stage skin cleansing - first cleansing with oils, and then face cleansing gel.
I got to know some interesting care techniques, and also learned how the essence differs from serum and ampoules (honestly? I've always confused these 3 products!), And why Korean women don't have wrinkles. The answer is simple - they use good cosmetics as well as sunscreens.

10 step-by-step skin care seems to be very labor-intensive? Thanks to this book you will understand why it is worth using it

In the first chapter we learn the story of the author - Charlotte Cho, who loved lounging on the beach. Unfortunately, I belonged to this group as the author - I thought of tan as a must have every summer season.
I really like that in addition to the planned skin care plan (in chapter 7), the author also recommends specific cosmetics. This is a great help for those starting Asian care.
The chapter on skin types is also precise - thanks to it it is easier to determine what complexion we have and what it needs. I recommend the book to everyone who wants to delve into the subject of Asian skin care.

Envy the Koreans 😉 I suspect, however, that the genes also have merit in their success 🙂

I also had the opportunity to read this book some time ago. I also devoted a post to review, because I think that for enthusiasts of Korean / Asian rituals of beauty may not be a necessary treasury of knowledge, does not discover anything new, but it is well written, with a large dose of humor. And for laymen in this topic it is definitely extremely interesting and revealing :) I'm glad you liked it too.

I'd like to read your opinion about this book. For sure, the book has dispelled some doubt - the difference between essence, serum and ampoule 🙂

The book must be interesting, indeed, the skin of Korean women is beautiful, which also results from their healthy nutrition and hiding from the sun. Enjoy reading!

I just miss a little more than you in this review. You know, "she conquered my heart" or something like that 🙂
In addition, a nice book promises to be. Is there anything besides ... cleansing the skin?

I wrote in the review all relevant information 🙂 Reading the above review, it can be concluded that it surprised me positively.

In the review I also wrote everything in the book - a detailed skin care plan (10 stages, of which each stage is described in detail), care tips, how to recognize your skin type and also Asian cosmetics suggestions that are worth paying attention to 🙂

I have heard a lot about this book and about the Korean cult of beauty and care. As for wrinkles - it seems to me that in their culture tanned skin is not very sympathetic, so they use high filters, thanks to which they slow down the aging process of the skin.

    • Avatar [Email protected] 16 May 2016 / 07: 50

Yes, Koreans use high filters. My friend's husband is Korean and I asked her about his care. She said filters are the basis and she doesn't leave the house without it 😉

I've heard so much good about this book that I must finally be tempted and buy it. I need skincare advice because somehow I can't find good methods and cosmetics. Maybe this reading will turn out to be groundbreaking :).

I think so. A lot of people notice the changes after switching to Asian care. You have to be patient, of course, because changes do not come immediately.

And it is hard for me to believe that this is not a genetic issue, which goes hand in hand with the skin color, etc. Maybe I am wrong, but it would be a bit strange if virtually all Koreans would use such cosmetics.

    • Avatar [Email protected] 16 May 2016 / 07: 48

Certainly not all Korean women use the same cosmetics. They choose the right type for your skin 🙂 Sample cosmetics are presented in the book, but everyone must find their own ideals.

Very nice written review 🙂 For over 5 years I have been a fan of Asian face care and to be honest I can't imagine another way to care for the complexion! Mizon is one of my favorite brands and I am glad that today it has offered its customers an attractive promotion 🙂 - best regards 🙂

For a long time, I'm just learning Asian care. However, I combine it with my care, because my skin is picky and doesn't like contact with water too often. I introduced make-up removal with oils and I can't imagine any other way of removing makeup 🙂
