Ayurvedic cream with turmeric - finally a dream mat!

My love for India it manifests itself not only in the fact that my biggest dream is to go to India, I love Indian food that caresses my taste buds, Indian music is for me the way to real relaxation, I admire Indian costumes - light, colorful ...

This love for India is also manifested in cosmetics. Really amla was one of the first cosmetics that led me on a straight path to understand that a cosmetic does not need chemistry to be a product that is 100% effective. That's how my love for natural cosmetics was born. Natural - especially those from around India ...

Which one of us has never dreamed about having hair like Hindu - shiny, thick, dark ... Why don't we lubricate the hair of little girls with oils such as amla, coconut oil or almond? I promise that if I give birth to a daughter in the future, I will practice this treatment! :) Have you ever dreamed of having a beautiful, smooth complexion - such as they have Hindu beauties?

I had a lot of conversations with Hindus while traveling to England. However, I regret that my love for India was only at the beginning, because I would probably come back laden with Indian cosmetics. Contrary to what we think - Hindus use more or less the same cosmetics as we do, but they have their own cosmetic pearls, among others hair oils, which are doing sensation recently in Poland, as well as turmeric cream, which I would like to review today.

I have been lurking for this cream for a long time, but only some time ago my colleague from work gave me a serious argument which was a collective order from allegro;)

Price: 16 PLN / 60 g

Availability: Only allegro. I have not met this product on a stationary basis. When it comes to allegro, I can recommend a seller where I always buy Indian cosmetics: rani-art. I have not been disappointed yet.

My opinion

Our beginnings were quite difficult - the specific smell of the product (for some it will probably be suffocating), which is very characteristic for Indian cosmetics, made it difficult to break the first ice cream. The second approach was definitely more fruitful. After some time I liked the fragrance very much - it calms down.

This smell remains on the skin, but it is only slightly noticeable. At the beginning (for about a week) I used this cream only at night after thorough cleaning facial skin. Soon after, I noticed that the cream is also perfect for the day (only after that I read the application on the packaging ... better late than never ...). And so from night cream it became my day cream and sometimes night cream.

Why for the day?

Because it is the only cream that matted my complexion not for a moment but for hours! which is a huge success for my complexion because no cream has done it yet !! At the beginning I noticed a deterioration in my complexion. However, I can not say that this is the fault of this cream, because during the first days of using this cream I had menstruation, which is often also seen on my face. Therefore, I can not say whether it was this cream that caused pimples, or whether it was not he who was the culprit. The consistency of the product is interesting - it seems thick, but it is quickly absorbed. However, you can overdo it with the cream, so I recommend careful use, because once I overdid it and I had a strange feeling on my face - I just felt that there was too much cream. It's hard to describe in words, but for sure if it happens to you, you will know what I meant;) The cream mats, and at the same time moisturizes and I have the impression that it provides my skin with everything it needs. I do not know if it will be clearly seen in the pictures, but the cream has such tiny particles (as such it is pearly in itself). Thanks to this, the mat is not blunt, but slightly illuminated. The skin is matte and bright at the same time. In my opinion this effect is perfect! It leaves a kind of glow layer on the skin.Raw Turmeric , which is included in the composition has antibacterial properties. In my opinion, it is thanks to her that I see significant improvement on my face. Turmeric cream probably owes a slightly yellowish color.

Other ingredients include aloethat moisturizes and rejuvenates. It also has antiseptic properties. Manjishta while it is astringent and antiseptic. Basil has a relaxing and calming effect. The exact composition can be found in the photo below :)

The downside may be the availability - I ordered it from Allegro and it will be hard to find it on a stationary basis. I recommend the product to people who, like me, have a problem with the T zone lighting up. No cream has worked on my, and here, what a surprise. The cream is most suitable for people with skin problems - acne, blackheads. Cheap, naturally ... what more could you want ?!

Have any of you used Indian cosmetics? If so, what can you recommend?

Great entry, it came in handy, I learned a lot about turmeric cream. But does it moisturize well? Because I'm looking for myself. Maybe someone uses and recommends?

I don't use this cream anymore, because I can't find it anywhere for a long time. I am using So Bio Oxygen cream-gel now. It is light and absorbs quickly.

Vicco has a too intense aroma for me, it's also a bit more watered down than natur riche. I can't stand the smell that lasts a long time. However, it is similar to natur riche in consistency and color.
As for himalaya, today I finally tried it. It is different than natur riche - it has a different color (a bit like toothpaste from the same company), a different smell (a bit like soap for me, fortunately it doesn't last long). Despite this, it also mats nicely, tomorrow I will see how it works out all day long.
Himalaya kiss is also soft and smooth. However, there are no brightening particles that have a riche nature. However, it is easily available and cheap (I paid PLN 4,99 in superpharm).

Yes, I have already learned that this cream is no more 🙁 then you need to look for the most similar one. I saw with turmeric only with Vicco and Emami the one with gold, from Himalaya I do not know what's going on?

  4. Avatar Anonymous 1 October 2013 / 08: 42

And how is it with this cream? is available? because at the moment it is nowhere 🙁 I wanted to try it because nothing helps me on my oily skin .. I also saw that there is a cream with turmeric and gold, it has good reviews, but apparently it is not suitable for makeup, fluid rolls. And I just want makeup to stick to it well. How does this Naturoriche perform in this role?

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 2 October 2013 / 18: 49

Hey, from what I know (latest info from rani-art) this cream is not available from an Indian seller.
I wonder about himalaya, it has a similar smell and texture.
Under makeup, this cream works well, but on one condition - if we don't overdo it with its quantity.

if you can't get it, buy yourself turmeric and spread yourself 🙂 will work even better

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 6 March 2013 / 19: 05

I do not recommend spreading with turmeric, because it stains yellow;)

    • Avatar Basia 6 March 2013 / 19: 06

      e, washed off 🙂

  6. Avatar Anonymous 5 March 2013 / 20: 25

Help! I am begging you for help in searching for this product, I can't find it anywhere. It is very important to me, it was the only product that helped me, and believe me, I have already tested a lot. Perfect skin, matt dream for a long time, fewer pimples, brightened, smooth, radiant. Please, if anyone knows or even knows some Ayurvedic cream with the same effect!

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 6 March 2013 / 19: 05

Relax :) I talked to a girl from Allegro -> rani-art, I will order this cream as soon as it is at the distributor. I also asked if this cream would be because I am delighted with it. For now, I ordered this:

but I only got it today, so I don't know how it works yet. The texture and appearance are the same but have a slightly more intense aroma.
Let me know how this cream works, maybe it is the same, or at least similar to the one I have reviewed, and for now it will be a good replacement.

    • Avatar Anonymous 9 April 2013 / 07: 43

And how is the cream doing the same? 🙂

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 10 April 2013 / 15: 13

I am already telling you, I am sorry that I did not write before, but I still had the rest of natur riche, which I was saving all the time: P at the same time - I used the cream only twice.

The cream has the same effect, but has a very intense smell, which in the case of natur riche did not bother me, and here it drives me crazy. The smell is very intense and suffocating. It doesn't suit me very much. Also action-yes, smell-no.
The consistency is actually the same, the one I have now is a little more yellow than natur riche.

I managed to do business with a friend who also ordered this cream that I bought it back.

rani-art does not know when natur riche will be available, he is not available from the distributor so far: / anyway he has me in mind to let me know when he finds out something.

Very well prepared post, starting from the pictures, ending with a nice memory and writing of Indians 🙂 I really like such exhaustive notes :) Although the cream does not tempt me for reasons of tarnishing (it bothers me on average), I just wonder if it would help anyway fight against acne. I love turmeric as an addition to rice, to meat, and as an addition to a mask on muck points :) Interestingly here with you, adds to the watched and I will read a few more posts :)

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 30 January 2013 / 19: 56

Hey :) I am very happy that you like it here :)
I also recommend turmeric mask - 3 spoons of yogurt and teaspoon of turmeric powder. Mix and apply on the face. One note - it can get dirty, that's why I recommend a paper towel for washing :)

    • Avatar Seanaith 31 January 2013 / 13: 29

I used to try a similar mask, except that I am EXTREMELY pale and only what is left on my face - yellow after curcuma 😉 I didn't see any major effects. But if I know that I will not go anywhere and there is a siphon on my face - a bit of turmeric mixed with mineralka and in spots - beautifully odkazę and dries :)

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 31 January 2013 / 18: 11

I have a slightly olive complexion, which is why turmeric bile is not scary to me, because I just can't see it. But the fact of washing her off is a nightmare (to completely wash her mouth).

  8. Avatar Basia 29 January 2013 / 19: 22

Devanagari is simpler than the Cyrillic alphabet 😉
And I think I'll make turmeric cream myself ... Here, it's not enough that parabens are EDTA. Hardly any of Indian cosmetics are worth anything - the inscription "Ayurvedic cosmetic" does not mean that it is a natural cosmetic. Something like our "herbal extract", and detergents and other chemicals around. Indian cosmetics worth recommending: Vicco tooth powder, hair oils, henna, powdered masks (e.g. sandalwood).

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 29 January 2013 / 20: 01

Either way, my complexion doesn't hurt like any other creams available in stores. And this wonderful mat :)

You forgot about hair oils, especially my favorite amla :)

    • Avatar Basia 29 January 2013 / 20: 33

hmm i wrote hair oils 🙂

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 23 February 2013 / 06: 35

Basia, I was tempted by this vicco tooth powder, it's awful, I can't get used to it.

Please write how it worked for you, because I do not know if it is worth convincing him.

    • Avatar Basia 24 February 2013 / 17: 38

Hmm, I don't know what to advise you, I like all herbal scents and the powder suits me very well. Thanks to it, my gum sensitivity was reduced. Apparently it also works on teeth whitening, but I haven't noticed anything like that yet.

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 24 February 2013 / 20: 15

I also like herbal aromas, but this taste ... tastes like sand with soda and ground bark: / I don't know, I can't convince myself ...

    • Avatar Basia 24 February 2013 / 20: 19

      E, there herbs only 🙂
Maybe try to use in small quantities, or add to toothpaste?
If it really rejects you like that, then there is probably nothing to force.

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 6 March 2013 / 19: 46

You're right, I'll try to mix the paste with this powder. Maybe then it will do something.

    • Avatar Anonymous 3 December 2013 / 14: 45

Yes, most creams, despite the fact that they contain natural ingredients, have a base that is nothing more than chemical additives with proven carcinogenic properties ... I use henna because it is 100% natural vico tooth powder and herb powder masks ... pity that producers don't think witold about consumers 🙁

  9. Avatar Atina 19 January 2013 / 11: 21

it promises to be wonderful;) I currently have other creams in stock, so I'm not tempted yet, but I will remember it in the next election;) thanks for the information; *

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 19 January 2013 / 16: 32

It's really great, it was worth risking buying it.

  10. Avatar [Email protected] 28 November 2012 / 17: 54

I recommend the Bio Saffron Dew cream moisturizing cream with saffron and turmeric.

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 1 December 2012 / 10: 06

I used it, but I must admit that it was a bit too fat for me. This is not here :)

  11. Avatar Victoria 1 October 2012 / 15: 16

Hmm ... if it mats, why not? Do you think that if someone has no problems with acne, just has an oily T zone, can they go out with the cream and mascara without a problem to get a delicate, natural, but at the same time nice effect? Isn't that what I think? I have heard a lot about Indian cosmetics but I have not tempted anything yet, but when I receive money I will try to save and enrich my beautician with this product 🙂
I invite you to me! 😀

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 1 October 2012 / 16: 52

I think so definitely! me, if I had a perfect complexion I would definitely be tempted to go out :)

  12. Avatar Aaliyah 1 October 2012 / 14: 17

ah these India, they can spin my head 🙂 I long ago had an Ayurvedic face wash gel that cured me of loose pimples on my forehead.

  13. Avatar MissCandlle 1 October 2012 / 14: 15

my nose shines terribly, sulfuric power mats but for some time, maybe 2 h max. I have to think about buying this product 😉

    • Avatar GoodForYouDP 1 October 2012 / 16: 53

I also used sulfuric power once, but it annoyed me with the cream that the consistency changed after some time and 2 cream packaging I threw away: /
