The first meeting with washing my face with a brush was a nightmare for me. Maybe because it was a Rossmann hand brush, or maybe because her bristles were too hard for my face.
My adventure ended in that the pimples I had were spread all over my face. It was a nightmare that I tried to get out of for months.
Since I was able to heal my complexion and get rid of my acne (of course, I still get something from time to time, it's not like I have a normal complexion from problematic skin ...) I have decided that I will take a second approach to the face brush. This time sonic. I bought my brush in the middle of August and today I would like to say a little about it.
I was able to buy a sonic toothbrush in Tchibo (Yes, yes, Tchibo is not just coffee. They also have very good quality organic cotton bedding! I love them!).
The set includes a brush with 3 attachments (2 for normal and 1 for sensitive skin). Heads for normal skin are only slightly harder than those for sensitive skin, which is why we get the 3 attachments for good morning.
I was afraid that I would buy a brush, and then I would not be able to buy any heads anywhere, but after talking to the seller in the stationary store, it turned out that it was possible to buy additional attachments, but you need to contact the helpline (eee ?!). They are available anyway, I don't know, because I have two more in stock. Normal heads are green, while for sensitive skin white.
In addition, the set includes a charger, a cover and a brush stand (very useful, it can be put in the bathroom on the shelf). All I need is a protective cap for the head so that it doesn't get dusty. Due to the fact that it is not there, I rinse my head with warm water before each use and only then touch my face with it.
The brush must be charged before the first use. When it is discharged, the red lamp lights up. Unfortunately, during further use, no lamp lights up when the brush is discharged. Not once during use it suddenly rained. This is a huge minus.
The device has three modes:
- slow (green lamp is on)
- fast (red lamp is on)
- pulsating (red lamp blinking)
I usually use the first one, I used the third one once. A huge plus is that we do not have to watch the time of washing the face. The brush is programmed in such a way that after switching on the minute counts down. Of course, you can turn it on again, but for me a minute is always enough to thoroughly cleanse my face. After a minute, the brush turns off.
Despite my fears, I did not notice that the brush worsened my complexion. Interestingly, I noticed that since I use it, the black dots on the nose have become virtually invisible, which makes me very happy. I am satisfied with the purchase of this brush, I regret that I previously considered it an unnecessary expense.
I have no comparison with other sonic brushes because this is my first facial brush. Either way, I wouldn't spend the cosmic sum on clarisonic mia 2 anyway, because I gained PLN for 129,95. a device that is doing great.
Today my toothbrush is dead. Unfortunately, the battery has been defective for a long time (charging was very long, the battery discharged after a maximum of two uses). To this end, the heads ended, which, unfortunately, can not be bought anywhere. Even when the brush was available at Tchibo.
Will I buy this product again? No, because although the brush is really cool, the lack of availability of interchangeable heads is a big problem. I'm thinking about the Foreo brush, but its price is scaring me away.
