Pocketbook ebook reader, Slow Fashion book

The ebook reader has been following me for a long time. I just didn't know which ebook reader to choose. At first I thought it wasn't for me because I am a huge fan of traditional books. They have something that I can't resist. However, this ebook reader is really good. So much so that I slowly forget about traditional books.
But as I mentioned, I noticed that books began to take up a lot of space, which after reading many books and articles on the subject of minimalism, etc., began to make a huge difference to me.
I spent almost two weeks reviewing ads, forums and opinions about readers. The reader came out a little more expensive than I expected, but from experience I know that sometimes it is worth paying extra and buying something better.

In the end I decided on Pocket Lux Touch 2which I got at a really great price on one of the auction sites.

I have read 3 books at the moment and I still can't get enough. The reader is much lighter and more handy than a regular book.
What I was afraid of was eye strain, however display technology Pearl E-ink makes me feel no more tired than if I read a traditional book.
Turning to technical issues, another important issue for me was backlight. This is not a standard, and to find a reader at a good price and with backlight you have to look good.
Another thing to look out for is resolution. The higher, the better. My 6-inch Pocketbook has a resolution of 1024 x 758.
From experience I know that you need to pay attention to whether the previous page breaks through reading, for me there is no such problem. In addition, it should be noted that Pocketbook opens a lot of book formats, so when buying a book I don't have to worry about what format I will get it in.
You can buy the version of Touch Lux 2 reader here.
If you choose a reader, remember about the reader case. Thanks to this, it will serve you for a very long time.

I am very happy with the reader and I often take it when I know that I will have a moment to read. It is small, and it has excellent performance (I have had the reader for over a month, I read a lot and I still have 80% battery!).
I didn't want a reader Kindlebecause in my opinion it's overrated. I'm not a freak of apples and other top companies. Brand is completely irrelevant to me, it is important for me that a given item or equipment serves well.
I recommend the equipment to anyone who suffers from a lack of space for books, as well as to those who do not like to tug unnecessary weights with them :)

An interesting review. The equipment seems to be worth attention to anyone who is thinking about buying a reader.

I've been using it for some time and I'm still very happy with it. Now, backlighting is especially useful, which is not found in every reader. It doesn't freeze and the battery lasts a long time.

Great, such a reader is a great thing 😉

I have been using Kindle Tuch 7 for several months. I have already read several books on it and I am very happy with it, although sometimes it lacks backlight 🙂

I happen to read in the evenings, so I was looking for a backlit reader podświetl

I really like reading books in a standard, paper edition, but they are slowly starting to clutter my flat. A good solution is the Library and borrowing them, but I usually read a book on the way to / from work and a thicker volume is an additional burden. In addition, carrying such a book in a purse makes it destroy itself 🙁 I was thinking about the Kindle, but I'll also look at your suggestion 🙂

The motivation to buy was a more and more nagging lack of space for books. I don't like going back to books, so after reading they usually landed on the shelf. I'll have to sell the ones I own.

I have a great desire for an e book reader, I just don't know if it is profitable to buy a reader for a few hundred and each e-book a dozen or several dozen on the phone after Legimi I see ...

You added a comment twice, so I deleted one 🙂 When it comes to ebook prices, they are comparable to regular book prices (although you can find cool promotions).

Space is also important for me because I read a lot of books.

I dream of such a reader, because I read ebooks compulsively. 🙂

I have never used this type of reader.

I have a reader from this company. I can't imagine my life without him.

It used to pass through my mind to buy a reader, but nevertheless I am loyal to traditional books, although heavy and sometimes uncomfortable, but I do not say categorically No 🙂

I also denied my arms and legs, and finally I said: "hey ... I wear so many things to work that I have nowhere to put my books in", and so I bought a reader 😉

I read a bit on the 7 tablet, just to check if I would reach for an electronic book. Of course, the reading comfort is poor, the screen has a gloss, and the tablet weighs. I gave up, but I am still thinking about the reader. I will look at PocketBook auctions, maybe this one 🙂

My tablet also had a glossy screen, even reading on it at home was hard, my eyes quickly got tired.
The Pocketbook has a matte screen and the eyesight does not get tired at all. I recommend borrowing from someone who has this reader or to see in the store. Now a new version of Pocket Lux 3 touchbook has been released.

I bought a tablet and, as it turned out, works great as a reader 😉

  12. Avatar Madziakowo 30 July 2015 / 10: 57

I do not have, I decided that first I have to read books that are on the Polish and then we will see :)

  13. Avatar Hola Paola 30 July 2015 / 08: 49

I am currently using the kindle application for the tablet and this rather eliminates the need to buy a reader. Reading on the tablet has only one minus you must have with you, i.e. powerbank 😉

    • Avatar [Email protected] 30 July 2015 / 18: 53

Ah you see ... for me the tablet is too big because I have Asus 10 inches. The reader is not suitable 😛

  14. Avatar Em 30 July 2015 / 07: 29

The reader is also my dream. But I also love to collect books and almost every day something comes. Not from stores, but from people who have already bought the readers. I use it ;-))

    • Avatar [Email protected] 30 July 2015 / 18: 51

Hehe, yes ... cwane; D, unfortunately, I don't have room for books anymore and I have to sell a few to have space for books for my master's thesis 🙂
