How did it happen that we have other pots?

remember post about Silit pots and my admiration for this company and its product? I think I have to change my opinion about them ... maybe not? Nevertheless, I will tell you a story that happened to us. Silit pots in the main role.

Why did we choose Silit pots? I fell in love with the pots after Mrs. Gadget's program. It was true that square pots were shown then, but as a traditionalist I found round ones in a beautiful vanilla color. They seemed to be the perfect wedding present from us for us. It also happened. Just before our wedding, we bought pots Silit Vitaliano Vanilla. For 4 years, we used them on a carbonated stove and nothing - no trace at the bottom, food actually warm after cooking for a long time, and in addition the pots do not contain harmful nickel.

Why do we no longer have Silit Vitaliano Vanilla? Our pots have served very well for so many years, but suddenly something started to happen - the remnants of food began to accumulate under the lid of the pots. Neither appetizing nor hygienic. In addition, rust appeared around the edge of the pots. We decided to advertise them, since they have 30 years warranty. The complaint went without any complaints. We received a new pot and lid. Interestingly, food remains no longer collect under the lid. Was that version defective? We did not think about it until mid-February this year, when a defect appeared on the same (smallest) pot.

A piece of siligranium coating fell off from the inside of the handles and rust appeared. Interestingly, after a few days more appeared (only on the handles). I'm starting to really believe that this version of the pots has a drawback. The more that this color version has mysteriously disappeared.

And this time we realized that we didn't spend enough money not to take advantage of the complaint. We advertised the same pot (interestingly nothing else happens!) And this time our complaint was considered in our favor. Unfortunately, the vanilla pot is no more, we could choose a different color from the same series. Of course, this was out of the question, because we didn't buy a set of pots to have one from another parish. Maybe it doesn't do it to some, to us as aesthetes.

Of course, the owner understood our doubts and thus decided that we can replace ALL the pots with a different color version. So we decided to go black. I hope the newer version will be less unlucky.

Is it worth buying Silit pots?

Despite our history with a small pot, I still recommend pots from this company. They are really good quality. Using them on a gas stove, which unfortunately tends to draw pots, as well as burning the bottom - nothing happened to the pots. There is not even the smallest scratch. In addition, considering the service, you can definitely feel someone important, and not just another customer.

    Hello. Complaint included (rust around the edge). Did you send old pots back to the producer?

      Yes, we sent this damaged set because we had to replace the whole set - vanilla pots were gone. We exchanged for black.

    I got a free Silit Vitaliano Nero set plus wonderful roasting pans and pans ...
    Pans are only suitable for self-defense ... burns ... clings ... draws ...
    Pots, rust, silargan falls off ... the bottom is cruelly scratched
    Roaster wonder ... maybe because it is not used so often.
    I have had pots for 3 years, I got it as a gift.
    30 years warranty ????
    I wonder if the manufacturer's warranty requires a receipt?

      I support! The frying pan is TRAGIC. I wish I had listened to my reader who advised her against me. And when it comes to pots, I'm still very happy with them. I do not know if you read the last comment, one of the women wrote that they are also rusting. Mine also rusty, and now I wash them again in the dishwasher and everything is ok. I think it's a matter of dishwasher and how it dries. My current dishwasher dries dishes very well. I have the impression that this is a matter of it, because the earlier ones dried up tragically (the dishes were wet after washing).

      Without a proof of purchase (receipt) a complaint will not pass.

        As for drawing, forgive me but I didn't notice anything but I only use Teflon accessories ... only those rusting edges ... But they mention everything to me ... I will see how now ....

      Honestly ... I have no problem with that. After removing the pots from the dishwasher they are ... dry 😀

    I use silit pots so square and red. I use it for almost a year and I just have the same problem, chipping and rust appears

    I love Silit products, above all for quality. Whoever has never had contact with the pots of this brand will never appreciate their quality. However, I do not recommend buying on the Allegro from unknown sellers, you often sell pots bought in Germany at outlets that are without warranty.

      I am very happy with them, because they look nice, they are solid and they keep warm for a long time (when I heat up the soup, I do not need to reheat it 2x, the refill remains warm), and the service is exemplary!

      Despite this story, I am very happy with them. For washing pots, I recommend a special Silit liquid - Piotr ordered it when making a complaint. It's phenomenal!

    I hear about this company for the first time. I recently discovered a pressure cooker and I am delighted. By the way, I have a gift from Ikea from this 365 + series for several years now and I'm sooooo happy. I think your complaint was considered because they did not want to make a bad opinion.

      I met Silita thanks to the Ms. Gadget program 🙂 It can be as you say, because, however, we have an opinion-forming blog, our post about pots is high and it would not be beneficial for them if the complaint was not positively considered 😉 Nevertheless, the approach to the customer is a medal!

    Sometimes there is a faulty series. True - there is nothing to be discouraged, since the overall result is a plus.

        My rusty also and food accumulated under the silicone on the lid which was disgusting. But they exchanged the whole set ... I have 2 pots to exchange ... I hope it will go the same. Don't you think it's a dishwasher problem? I didn't have a problem with rust until I bought a dishwasher ..

          Yes! It's a matter of dishwasher, but more of its quality than the dishwasher itself! I even talked to Piotr about it yesterday 🙂 I started washing the dishes again in the dishwasher (I feel sorry for washing the pots by hand, but I did it for fear of something strange happening to them again) and nothing like this happens here. I think it's a matter of drying. In previous dishwashers (in the apartments we rented) drying was tragic - dishes were still wet after drying. They are dry in this dishwasher (it is known that it is hot after drying, so I open the dishwasher after washing for about 30 minutes and I am just unpacking it). Also yes, I think it is a matter of dishwasher, and more specifically the quality of drying (our dishwasher currently has the highest quality of drying).

            Well, I have a dishwasher with zeloite drying also write that only after 30 minutes to open ... but it is true that after removing are still wet dishes ... and sometimes they stay for the night too ... I thought if it was not a matter of polishing or tablets ...

            Rather a matter of drying, because I use the same dishwasher tablets and rinse aid (ecological brand Frosch), which I used in the previous dishwasher.
