Green Tea is my favorite among all teas. And to think that one day I couldn't swallow it because it was so bitter, not very tasty ... the matter of getting used to or liking it.
I think that if I were to set up a second blog I could easily open a world of tea. Yes, I confess ... I love tea. But is that a sin?
But I wasn't supposed to talk about my sins (that would probably run out of space on the blog), but about green tea and its properties and uses. I will also reveal to you such a small trick that I have been using for some time and about its effects.
Green tea contains a lot of antioxidants - flavonoids, which neutralize free radicals.
Thanks to this, drinking green tea prevents:

Contrary to reviews - green tea does not slim down, but only SUPPORTS slimming, because flavonols inhibit the activity of enzymes that are responsible for fat deposits in the body. That is why it is so often found in dietary supplements - so-called weight loss boosters.
However, it is wrong to think that green tea slims. To lose weight, however, you need proper nutrition and a lot of physical activity.
WARNING! people who have problems with iron absorption should limit green tea. We also don't drink iron tablets with it.
Brewing green tea
It is very important to brew green tea well, otherwise it will be bitter and not very tasty. We never pour boiling water on it and the water cools a little
Green tea has different properties depending on how many minutes we brew it:
- 3 minutes-> stimulates
- above 3 minutes-> calms down
In the summer we can drink it with the addition of ice cubes and a slice of lemon (refreshes), in the winter I suggest a version with a little honey, or alone.
Personally, I don't like green tea alone, which is why I choose versions with additions available on the market. My favorite is the one with fig prickly pear.
The effect of green tea on our complexion
Green tea has very high toxin cleansing properties because it accelerates the change of toxic substances into water-soluble and fat-soluble forms, which causes them to be eliminated faster.
Every morning I drink a glass of green tea on an empty stomach. This way is very good not only for people who fight acne, but for everyone who makes small eating sins (I confess to another sin in one note. Yes, I also commit eating sins ... sometimes not even small.).
Effects? much less skin problems. I am particularly talking about uninvited guests on our faces.
The use of green tea in natural cosmetics
- green tea tonic
is the simplest cosmetic from green tea. Just brew tea. Strain if brewed in hardwood. Pour tea into a container that can be tightly closed. We use it as a face wash. We keep the closed tea in the fridge 2 days.
- Hair conditioner:
- approx. liter of hot water
- a handful of dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
- 2 green tea bags
We brew 10 minutes. We use as a grille or hair mask.
- face mask that restores radiance:
- a cup of hot water
- green tea sachet
- 1 / 4 cup of peach nectar (it is best to squeeze the juice yourself)
- 1 spoon of gelatin
We brew tea for 10 minutes. We pour peach nectar and add gelatin. Mix until the gelatin dissolves. We leave to thicken. We put in the fridge for half an hour. We apply on the face with a brush. We leave it on the face until it "thickens" like an algae mask (about 10-15 minutes).
