How and what to clean Beauty Blender - update and some ideas for cleaning the sponge

How and what to clean Beauty Blender
Cleaning the Beauty Blender is not the easiest one. However, if we choose the right products, it becomes faster and more pleasant.
In today's post I would like to introduce you to several ways to clean Beauty Blender, which I managed to test. And also some comments about some of them. I would also like to remind you that I do not use foundation, but the Asian BB cream Dr G, which, unfortunately, is harder to remove from the sponge.

Wheat and oat shampoo Sylveco

Cleaning the Beauty Blender with shampoo is a pretty good way. Provided, however, that we do not use Asian BB cream. In this case, the shampoo has completely failed. The sponge was only slightly clean.

I tried to clean Beauty Blender with Facelle liquid, but he was too delicate. He did not clean the sponge well (only from the top). There is still a lot of BB cream inside.

Protex soap

Cleans Beauty Blender very well, the foam penetrates deeply into the sponge. Unfortunately, this method has its drawbacks - I have the impression that the sponge deteriorates faster and loses color faster.

Bielenda Cotton or Avocado two-phase liquid

This method worked very well for me. Due to the fact that the liquid has a washing layer and an oily layer - it washes out all dirt from a sponge. The method is also very simple, because it is enough to pour a little shaken product into the hollow of the hand, and then soak it with a sponge. Then just wash with liquid soap without SLS.

Bielenda Argan Cleansing Face Oil

It washes everything well from inside and outside of an egg. The sponge does not get damaged, as in the case of Protex soap. Unfortunately, this method has one drawback - oil is not the cheapest.

Liquid soap with a little Alterra oil

For me this method works best. Into the hollow of my hand I pour a little liquid soap without SLS and a pump of Alterra oil (it can be any oil). The sponge is not damaged, so we can use it longer. For me, this method of washing the sponge works best.

I cleaned with Protex (it washes the BB cream from the sponge very well), but I noticed that the soap does not work, it has a positive effect on it - it begins to crumble slightly.

I have already thought of BrushEgg for brushing brushes. I did not think that it could also be used for washing Beauty Blender 😉

I have never used Beauty Blender cleaning products. Do you recommend this soap? 🙂

Great post! As if you were reading my thoughts, Dominiko 😉 I recently bought a beauty blender sponge and washes it with Rossmann children's soap. The soap cleans the sponge very well, but it actually damages it slightly and deprives it of color. I only use Asian cosmetics for makeup, and what is associated with it is difficult to remove them ... I think I will buy Bielenda oil - which one do you recommend? Best wishes 🙂

Haha you see I read my mind 😉 I buy Alterra for massage. I used them all and I like the most with lime.

I really like his smell. Actually whoever you wouldn't take, everyone will be good 😉

I also use Asian BB cream, hence - I know what the problem is 😉

I don't have Beuty Blender yet, but I will remember the last way and try how to finally get it 🙂
