Perfect blender - Bosch MaxoMixx MSM88190

Switching to a vegetarian diet, I knew that I would have to invest in a good blender. My diet is based, among others on vegetables or nuts (including ground nuts). I often make pastes (I recommend bean paste and roasted garlic or veg lard with plumMy previous blender (bought in Rossmann) had the biggest problem with grinding nuts. When I was doing the first time Cashew Cheesecake the hand blender could not stand it. I knew it was time to invest in something better.

Piotr, as usual, found great equipment that I fell in love with at first sight. Bosch MaxoMixx MSM88190 (cheapest in Neo24) is a small food processor, which is a huge helper in cooking (it will be useful not only for a vegetarian or vegan diet). The version we bought is the most extensive. I said that it is worth investing in good equipment for years.
In version MSM88190 We get:
  • mixing attachment,
  • whipping attachment (whisk),
  • mini shredder,
  • blade for crushing ice,
  • chopping / chopping blade,
  • container with measuring cup for storage and blending,
  • pusher,
  • chopping and grinding discs (e.g. slicing, chopping carrots or cabbage),
  • stirrer that can be used, among others to mix pizza or bread dough
You don't have to buy such an extensive version of this blender. You have to decide for yourself which of them will be most useful to you. It is not worth buying something that you will not fully use.

I use a smaller container with a blade in "S" for making pastes, a larger one I use mainly when shredding and when I make a larger amount of a product. I blend soups for cream with a hand blender.

A huge plus that I could not fail to mention is the blender cable. It looks like a landline phone cable. Thanks to this, it doesn't break, doesn't bend and you don't have to roll it up. For me it is a great help. When buying a good blender you have to look at its power. Our blender has the power of 800W, so it can grind really everything 😉
Most parts of the blender can be washed in a dishwasher - e.g. plastic bowls or blades. Only with a wet cloth you can wipe the parts with the mechanism, i.e. the top of the hand blender, as well as the lid from the large and small container. Adjusting the speed is very simple - the blender has a knob with speeds: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12. At the bottom there is a "turbo" button, thanks to which the rotation of the blade is much faster.

I also have such a blender and I was very happy with it, but recently it turned off after 2-3 minutes of work, and the warranty has just ended: / Maybe I overloaded it because I started making peanut butter. Someone may have experience with its repair?

What tip did you make peanut butter? Did you take breaks while making peanut butter? He probably overheated. If there is no warranty, you must repair for a fee. Look for Bosch services in your city or area.

Are you still satisfied with it? Do you use it often? I'm seriously thinking about buying it.

I do not recommend. Already advertised, replacement for a new one and again It self-heats so that it burns and smells bad.

I still use it and I'm happy. The only downside is that you can't wash the lids. It's very cumbersome to use.

Natalia, you may be overheating. Do you take breaks during prolonged use? If not, that may be the reason - misuse.

When I grind nuts or anything that lasts longer, every few seconds I take short breaks, thanks to which the blender does not heat up. I recommend you try 🙂

Is it normal for the blender to switch itself off after less than a minute of use, no matter what revolutions it is used for. In addition, it has a slight burning smell when it turns off

So I was unlucky, I already thought that msm 88190 is overrated since it works as I wrote above, and that's just the faulty model I came across. Thank you very much for your reply

Check if you hear the characteristic "click" when applying the tips. You may be applying the tips too lightly. And if not, there is actually a manufacturing defect and you must advertise 🙁

I checked and remained unchanged, I am in the middle of a conversation with a Bosch representative regarding repair or replacement.

Is there such a thing that new devices must 'burn out' from this stink of burning?

    • Avatar [Email protected] 6 September 2016 / 16: 27

I don't remember that my blender had a smell. Listen, isn't it getting too hot when using it? Perhaps this is a problem with the engine, hence the specific smell? To be honest, I don't know anything about it, but it's best to make a complaint.

    • Avatar Natalia Ziętek 8 December 2016 / 20: 31

I have the same. I already advertised, exchanged for a new one and this new one is also a problem - it heats up terribly and has an unpleasant smell. I use, of course, according to the instructions, I already have enough. Maybe they produced some faulty batches ...

    • Avatar [Email protected] 8 December 2016 / 21: 18

Strange, maybe some faulty party. I bought my blender a long time ago and fortunately I have no problems with it.

Do you take breaks while blending? Each blender overheats when it works all the time for several minutes. It is worth taking breaks every approx. 20-30 seconds with longer blending. Actually, it is recommended with every blender.

Did you make frozen fruit smoothie with it? If so, which end? An ordinary blender or an ice crusher?

    • Avatar [Email protected] 2 June 2016 / 16: 00

Of course, now in these heat even every day 😀 I use a hand blender (if I want a larger portion, e.g. a whole jug of cocktails) or the largest bowl with the largest blade 🙂

I love my Vitamix although these kenwood also work well. I've never worked with bosch ...

    • Avatar [Email protected] 7 April 2016 / 13: 37

This set is great because it helps me not only to make smoothies, but also various pastes. There are no problems with grinding nuts or other harder products.

Great BLENDER - I would like to have one myself 🙂

  7. Avatar pirelka 28 October 2015 / 10: 36

But nice, lots of interesting and useful tips 😉 I have a blender, but only with one tip, it's good with Braun.

    • Avatar [Email protected] 28 October 2015 / 11: 56

I also had one end, but when I burned it while grinding nuts, I decided it was time for something more 🙂

I recommend the one from Lidla, it worked when grinding dinners to an infant and it digested every day for several months :)

    • Avatar [Email protected] 21 October 2015 / 08: 59

I have a dryer and a bread machine with lidl. I have been using the dryer for 3 year 🙂

We bought a blender when I was pregnant because of future mush for the baby, but I still use it as much as I can, for everything 🙂
    Pozdrawiam

I have been looking for blenders more and more recently. If I had to buy one with all the goodies it seems superfluous at first glance, but I have often found out that such things are useful. Especially for people who like to spend time in the kitchen 🙂

    • Avatar [Email protected] 21 October 2015 / 09: 01

Oh, they are useful. The only thing I didn't use was a whisk, and the rest was useful when preparing vegetarian dinners 🙂 Even grinding of cooked beets is much faster.

Me too, but I'd be crazy in my kitchen and on the hi hi culinary blog

But cudooo! I would like to make a cocktail using it. 🙂

I hope that one day I will give myself one or the like 😀
