Comments on the blog
When running a blog, you probably count on some feedback from your readers (comments on the blog). Unfortunately, this is not always the case. Recently doing a survey about our blog, I was surprised how many people indicated that they never comment on posts. Is it worth paying so much attention to the number of comments? Or maybe only the blog Author pays so much attention to this?

The number of comments equals the number of blog views

The number of comments does not translate in any way into the number of views of the blog. In most cases, the number of views is much higher than the comments. People rarely comment on posts because they either have nothing to say about the topic or they just don't want to.
There used to be a very important number of comments under a post for me, today I don't pay so much attention to her. Which does not mean that I do not like when someone comments - quite the opposite. I really like reading readers' comments and responding to them. Comments are one form of communication with Readers. So let's reply to comments that require this answer.

Is it worth letting anonymous comment?

For many years I thought that thanks to the possibility of commenting by anonymous we will have more comments. I have always explained it to myself that not everyone has to have a Google account or any other account, and will want to intelligently comment on the post. Unfortunately, it was different. In our case, anonymous comments often translated into hate, which was rarely supported by any reasonable argument.

The golden rule - if you have something wise to say - talk, if not - keep quiet.

In addition, there were also comments written by emissaries of various companies in a cheap way to promote their services or products. Although the free advertisement was mostly deleted - at some point it just became bothersome and began to take too much time.
We have opted out of this option for some time, and spam and anonymous hatred have ended. Valuable comments began to appear from people who are not ashamed to sign their statements. For now, we have peace of mind with this topic.

Comment - a simple way to self-promote your blog

It may surprise you, but the comment is a very good self-promotion of your blog. Of course, I do not mean comments like "cool blog + link to your blog" or "Super post, look at my blog click". Such comments are immediately removed from us, so there is no point in bothering to leave them.
I mean sharing on other blogs. Taking part in discussions, writing smart things, showing interest in a topic can make this comment intrigue and someone will want to see what else wise you have to say on your blog. The golden rule - if you have something wise to say, say it, if not - keep quiet. And stick to it, and the comments "cool blog, click" better forgive yourself. You certainly won't interest anyone with such comments, but rather upset you 😉

How to link in a blog comment (blogspot)

Not everyone knows that you can paste a clickable link in a comment. It is very simple. All you have to do is paste text
In the place of the "link" paste the address together with http: // in the place of the "text" paste the name to the link, e.g. a post about healthy eating
An example link will look like this:
Personal development

Well, you have collected 26 comments so far 🙂
It is worth taking care of them, because then you can see that the blog is alive.
I remember my surprise when I found literally 2-3 comments on a read expert blog. On the whole blog 🙂
I'm testing a new comment plugin now.
It seems very cool because it shows your last post.
Anyway, if you want, see 🙂
    comment displays your post

I like to reply to comments, especially when someone asks something. I can always help by e-mail or on Facebook, Instagram. There are many possibilities and many people use it. I enjoy it because I love talking to people and sharing knowledge 🙂

I also don't like it when someone writes the comment "Super recipe, I invite you to me", etc. ). Unfortunately, I still have very few of them 😉 and I don't have much time myself, so I leave a mark only when something really interests me and I have a moment to write it (because usually it is not available at the moment or if I read on the phone I can't always comment, e.g. Disqus doesn't support Explorer, which I'm currently using in tel.)

Commenting on others is very important and it is very nice when the author tries to answer these comments! I'm just starting and learning everything from the beginning, so your advice will definitely help me, best regards!

Good luck in embracing the topic - it's a bit, but it's worth spending time and enjoying success 🙂 If you have any questions or problems, write boldly :))

And I recently pasted the link to the article in the comment by sticking it from the search engine. He was clickable.

    • Avatar [Email protected] 7 April 2016 / 06: 22

Maybe the blogger changed something, but if you paste the link, e.g. by referring to a blog post, I have not encountered the situation that it was a clickable link. Then you need to apply the trick from the note 😉

It's a big problem in our society that anonymity is thought to allow us to do anything. I struggle with not very pleasant comments from anonymous people

    • Avatar [Email protected] 6 April 2016 / 22: 01

Janusz raised a very interesting point. That's right, in the age of internet anonymity can equal anything. I can insult anyone I want and how I want. It is a pity that you lack the courage to tell someone in the eye that you do not like him, for example. This is a little unresponsive behavior.

I do not hide that I really like to receive comments because thanks to them I can establish some relationships with people who visit my blog, and I like to meet people and their opinions on various topics 🙂

    • Avatar [Email protected] 6 April 2016 / 21: 38

The comments are very nice and motivating to act. From the perspective of the commenter, they are also a great treasury of knowledge for me 🙂

  10. Avatar Łukasz Bier 6 April 2016 / 18: 16

Anonyms are not bad ... not everyone who wants to set up a complained gmail 🙂

    • Avatar [Email protected] 6 April 2016 / 21: 37

If anonymous comments are not hates, they are ok. Unfortunately, anonymous likes to hate.

  11. Avatar Natalia O 6 April 2016 / 18: 15

I agree with the point about valuable commenting - I try to enter many blogs myself and additionally I answer every comment written by me and of course go to the author's website 🙂 I think it's fair to readers 🙂

    • Avatar [Email protected] 7 April 2016 / 06: 26

I go to other blogs a few times a week and check if something new has appeared 😉 If a topic interests me or I have anything to say, I always leave a trace 🙂

  12. Avatar Paulina is testing 6 April 2016 / 17: 15

I really like reading comments on my posts if they are so 🙂 If they require it, I answer them too 🙂

  13. Avatar Kaprysek 6 April 2016 / 16: 43

I really like (probably like everyone) read the comments under the note, however, I do not always comment on the read post.

    • Avatar [Email protected] 7 April 2016 / 06: 28

There is always something to write on a given topic. For example, if I don't know the product, I write it openly.

  14. Avatar powder compact 6 April 2016 / 16: 03

You are right, many people do not want to leave a trace or the will to leave some biting comment, usually anonymous though fortunately this is not very common and most comments are about and with sense 🙂

    • Avatar [Email protected] 7 April 2016 / 06: 29

It is better not to comment at all than to comment bravely 😉
