Blogger profile keeping on Instagram

How to tame Instagram?
How to tame Instagram?

After Facebook took over Instagram there were a lot of changes. As a Social Media specialist, I'm up to date with all the "amenities" on social media. This time there will be some theoretical and practical knowledge about Instagram.

Instagram changes

When Facebook took over Instagram, it started figuring out how to make money on this social network. The first ads appeared, the algorithm for displaying posts has changed. Previously you could reach all followers, now unfortunately the ranges are limited. You have to save yourself from hastags, but certainly not those from the list of "most popular hastags". You probably wonder why? I am already answering.

How to use hastagi effectively?

If you reach a group of people who have used hastag, e.g. Instagram (it's a really large group) you will appear in the news for a few seconds. And this is not the point ... You must reach as many potential followers as possible. And if we're already using hastags - it's worth pasting them in the commentary, not in the description. It just looks more aesthetically pleasing and the effect is the same.

What time to publish posts on Instagram?

Initially, it was said that good publication hours are morning hours. However, I think it's worth following your profile. Thanks to the introduction of statistics we can observe what time the most people are on our profile. It's a good idea to test different hours and choose the ones that work best.

How often do you post to Instagram?

Daily. Otherwise the profile will die a natural death. However, don't post by force. If you don't have an idea for a photo and description, it's better not to post anything. Instagram is primarily photos, if it is not good, your effort will be in vain.

Instagram stories - does it make sense?

The question ... of course it makes sense and it was a great idea to introduce this option on Instagram. Also, don't be afraid, use this option!

Is Instagram advertising worth it?

We've already done several blog and professional advertisements on Instagram. It all depends on the budget, graphics and encouraging description. You also need to define your target group well. It's best to test on a smaller budget at the beginning.

Embracing insta is yet to come, the post contains many valuable advices.

    • Avatar [Email protected] 30 May 2017 / 10: 07

Insta has been crazy lately - shadowban, cutting ranges is common. Earlier it was easier to stand out, now you have to do some gymnastics.

  2. Avatar Nadine 13 January 2017 / 21: 40

Well, I sometimes wonder about #

  3. Avatar Ada - Glow Up 10 January 2017 / 18: 19

I was wondering if entering # in the comment would give any additional benefits. And here it turns out that I don't 🙂 write them in the description anymore.
The hardest part to start, later Instagram becomes a fun adventure.

An interesting entry, the more that I use Instagram every day and recently I test different hashtags and their power 🙂

  5. Avatar Aneta 9 January 2017 / 12: 32

Thanks for the entry 🙂 For me, too little, too sketchy topic ... I want to know more!

    • Avatar [Email protected] 9 January 2017 / 12: 55

Certainly there will also be blog posts about social media 🙂

  6. Avatar Make Happy Life 9 January 2017 / 11: 38

Interesting, light advice for Instagram users 😉 With these hashtags I have to try differently, because it's really not easy to reach someone lately ...

  7. Avatar Dicappo 7 January 2017 / 15: 23

Interesting article. It will definitely be useful to me. For example, I already know that I am making a basic mistake using popular hashtags. There are also applications such as Tagfire to search for hashtags in a given category. What do you think about them?

    • Avatar [Email protected] 7 January 2017 / 16: 38

      I'm glad we helped 🙂

I have never used such applications, but I will gladly test how it works. Can you give some name?

  8. Avatar Mikołaj Cichomski 7 January 2017 / 11: 02

For sure Insta is an interesting tool and if we want to be successful we should publish new content every day. However, I decided to publish when I feel that I have something really cool to show. I realize that the range has very small, but I will watch how the quantity and quality of photos will affect the ranges 🙂

    • Avatar [Email protected] 7 January 2017 / 16: 40

      You have to test 🙂

Let me know what conclusions you have drawn from such activities, because I am very curious about the results.

  9. Avatar Artur 7 January 2017 / 10: 28

I am delighted with Instagram, but I only use it for half a year, so it has not discouraged me yet. Of course, I notice a lot of junk profiles, established only for advertising purposes. But plenty are also interesting, informative and made with jamming profiles.

    • Avatar [Email protected] 7 January 2017 / 16: 42

There are many such profiles. You will probably come across this one more time 😉

Good luck running your Instagram profile! 🙂

  10. Avatar Guess What PL 7 January 2017 / 09: 56

Very interesting entry. That FB will take over Instagram was known to be a matter of time. It is a pity that this commercial campaign has just appeared in this medium. This reduced the range from the machine, and the ads dominated the walla. Well, but we can't help it 🙂

    • Avatar [Email protected] 7 January 2017 / 16: 43

Yes it's true. There have been rumors in the industry groups for a long time about Insta passing through FB.

I have few Instagram ads. I don't think I'm a good target, hahaha

  11. Avatar createyourtravel 7 January 2017 / 09: 49

I also noticed the trend that the more often I put pictures the better. For hours, somehow I never paid attention, but I see that it is also important.

    • Avatar [Email protected] 7 January 2017 / 16: 47

It is worth looking at what time is the most people on your profile. You can use the statistics provided by Instagram or those that are available on the web.

  12. Avatar Andrzej Maj 6 January 2017 / 18: 42

helpful to me. I have Instagram for several days: P thanks: P

    • Avatar [Email protected] 7 January 2017 / 16: 45

Please, welcome again for a dose of knowledge about social media and blogging 🙂

  13. Avatar Our Bubble 5 January 2017 / 22: 26

I focus mainly on blog and FB, because on Instagram I usually don't have enough time anymore. I upload photos there very sporadically, usually on the occasion of some campaign for a particular brand - but this year I will try to change and develop it a bit 🙂

    • Avatar [Email protected] 6 January 2017 / 12: 41

And it's a mistake. Social media is an additional place where you can attract new readers. We from social media have so many visits, especially from Insta 🙂

  14. Avatar Patii Make-Up - www.patii.pl 5 January 2017 / 22: 23

Very useful post. To be honest, I didn't notice that there were any changes, I'm going to get over it. Thanks for the guide 🙂

    • Avatar [Email protected] 6 January 2017 / 12: 50

I am up to date with changes, because it is my profession 😀 I will be throwing you some more interesting news that are relevant to bloggers, so I encourage you to follow our blog 🙂

  15. Avatar Agata - SarnieLife 5 January 2017 / 22: 17

Cool, easily digestible summary - thanks! I liked Instagram very much, but for now without reciprocity;) I think just being there, trying different options that match our profile and personality will give results over time. For now, I have the joy of taking pictures and watching some great accounts - you can learn a lot from this too.

    • Avatar [Email protected] 6 January 2017 / 12: 48

Reciprocity will come with time. The hardest thing is to "get" the first hundred, and then somehow it goes. You have to publish regularly (which I haven't been doing lately, because I didn't have a day with good light 😀 I just took a day off and took several dozen photos on Insta: D)

I also found some great Insta accounts. I recommend Alabasterfox! Has wonderful photos. In addition, a very nice girl - she had her lecture at See Bloggers 🙂

  16. Avatar Martyna Szkołak 5 January 2017 / 21: 39

I'm interested in everything related to social media (especially those that I use myself), that's why I looked here. And I am curious if there will be any continuation, because I have little information. For example - how to use # effectively? Information that the use of the most popular is fatal appears in every text. The information that it is better to paste them in a comment is irrelevant, because it does not affect effectiveness. I thought I would find here, for example, hashtags worth using.

I love instagram, but lately I publish less on it, because I am irritated by the incredibly outgoing followers ... in this respect, Twitter is more gracious. 🙂

    • Avatar [Email protected] 5 January 2017 / 21: 50

Hey, I'm sure I will talk about Insta in the Blogger Guide.

As for the hashtags in the comment, they have the same effectiveness as you would paste in the content under the photo. Nevertheless, they look aesthetic in the commentary, which is why a lot of people use this method.

I will not give you a list of hashtags that are worth using, because everyone has to find them and adapt them to their topic. In the case of lifestyle blogs they will be different than in the case of strictly beauty blogs 🙂

The post presents tips on how to operate on Instagram, not a golden mean to achieve success, because there is none. Everything can be a matter of one good picture. You need to test using the tips above 🙂

Twitter in Poland is not very popular and not very effective. Unless you're a politician or journalist 😉 I'm not saying that it's not worth being there, because in the case of not very popular blogs even a handful of readers are at a premium!

  17. Avatar Janusz Bartoszek 5 January 2017 / 20: 06

I honestly admit that Instagram is a tool that I am constantly learning.
There is no doubt that the presence on this portal is gaining in importance 🙂

    • Avatar [Email protected] 7 January 2017 / 16: 44

It's definitely worth being on Instagram. This is not only an inspiring place, but thanks to the profile you can attract new readers.
