Schmidts deodorant - our opinion

Ever since we switched to conscious care, we've had trouble finding a good vegan deodorant.
Schmidt's vegan deodorant

I've already tested alterra ball, and crystal, but I was still looking for something natural and effective. The choice was Schmidt's deodorant, which I bought on Amazon. I saw that you can also get it on Polish websites.
There are two variants (size) - 14,79 g and 56,70 g, Different fragrances are available. I think that everyone will find something for themselves. We chose lime.
The composition of the product is really great - Butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), Maranta arundinacea (arrowroot) powder, Theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, Citrus bergamia (bergamot) essential oil, Citrus aurantifolia (lime) essential oil , Tocopherol (vitamin E), Humulus lupulus (hop) extract.
We tested him three - me, Piotr and Natalia. Opinions are divided, because me and Piotr were not happy, but Natalia already.
The first thing I mention is the allergy I got after this product. I do not know if it is the fault of baking soda or maybe the oil used in the product. My skin, whether it was after depilation or not - once it was hell, once itchy. She was also very irritated.
Interestingly, irritation also occurred in the case of Piotr. Natalia had no "side effect". Perhaps it is a matter of the fact that both Piotr and I are allergic, and Natalia not.
When I asked Natalia about the product, she said it was ok. Works well, but she is not convinced of the method of application. The deodorant is applied with the attached spatula or takes some product and turns it into a "ball" and then applied to the skin.
Schmidt's eco deo
I sent Natalia info that in addition to the jar version there is also a stick. I wonder if he'll be tempted to buy it. I hope that if so, he will say a few words about him.
At home after using the deodorant, in addition to baking, I noticed that when I sweat, my skin was moist and oily. It was the same with Piotr. What's worse, this product caused Piotr to have yellow patches (from sweat) under his arms, which never happened when using a drugstore product.
We are currently testing a new method - we do not use deodorant at all. And what? And we won't sweat at all! The second month passes and nothing else! There is no poo, why can't there be no deo?

I recommend making your own deodorant, mix coconut oil (with 3 tablespoons) with a teaspoon of baking soda, a teaspoon (or more) of potato starch and a few drops of essential oil (I added either mint, lavender or orange) - even in the heat, sweat didn't beat me. The proportions need to be tested because I was irritated by too much soda, for example. I have been making it for a year now and it is a revelation to me 🙂

This one has actually the same composition, and made at home is much cheaper. Thanks for the advice on soda. I will have to protest because with this product I suspect that there was too much soda.

I've never used such deodorants, but I think I like the green Vichy ball the most 🙂

I wanted to try this deodorant, but my enthusiasm weakened a little 🙁

Personally, I would prefer such a miracle but in the form of a ball or stick. I like easy applications. I have to go to the health food store. I will definitely find a miracle there. I squeeze hard!

It works for me, but I noticed that it is better and worse. Maybe it depends on the hormonal cycle, e.g. before the period I sweat more and then this deodorant seems to work less well and Vichy antiperspirant gives advice. Fortunately, I didn't notice the stains.

I have no idea what it depends on, because Piotr doesn't work either. It doesn't work at all. Even sitting at home I can have wet armpits: /

Despite the awareness of the harmful effects of traditional antiperspirants, I cannot give them up completely 🙁 I have not yet found a natural replacement that would actually act as an antiperspirant and not just a deodorant. However, I try to reach for natural deodorants without aluminum whenever I can, I am currently using Ziaji leaves of green olive 🙂

If two out of three say that it did not work, it really is. I never thought about trying a Vegan deodorant 🙂

For sure Natalia will add something from herself. He did not work for me and Piotr and we will certainly not return to him.

I am attached to Crystal there. Sometimes I don't use deodorant at all, if I don't leave the house, why?
