Formalities when adopting a pet

Recently, I came across an article on trojmiasto.pl (Click) regarding formalities that must be completed when adopting a pet. This topic is close to us, because we adopted a rabbit a year ago and we know what the whole process looks like. At first, we had to fill out the adoption form (Click), then we had an adoption conversation with Mrs. Małgorzata, who had our ear in a temporary home. Unfortunately, I have to admit that people are usually lazy, which is why here too it is sniffing that there is too much formality.

I myself have mixed feelings about this whole procedure. In one comment, the girl wrote that one day, to adopt a pet, a photocopier was enough, and now when adopting a dog, you need to complete a form, then have a conversation, walks with the dog, etc. On the one hand, I am not surprised that shelters and organizations that adopt will to go through conversations and thus protect myself against the possibility of giving away a pet, but on the other hand I wonder if the bureaucracy will not lose animals that are waiting for a loving home.

On the other hand, however, I think that if someone really cares about a pet, he will spend these 10 minutes to fill out the form, etc. I just wonder if the forms are not colored and do they give 100% certainty that man cares about the good of the animal?

Did you know that you don't have to buy a rabbit, but you can adopt it?

Rabbits in pet stores are usually picked up from the rabbit mother too early - so that people succumb to the small, downy ball and buy it. Yes, that's true - pet stores are only for profit. If you want a rabbit, you know the expenses, advantages and disadvantages associated with it, and you are sure that you will cope, then it is better to adopt a rabbit than buy it.

Adoption of a rabbit

I will tell you a short story - a small, spoiled girl got a beautiful, tiny bunny. She looked after him as she looked after, but one day she came up with a brilliant idea - I will take a rabbit to a friend. It is a pity that she did not think to put it in the transporter, provide hay or other food on the road, just put it under the sweatshirt and went. Along the way, a dog attacked her and sensed a rabbit. The rabbit got scared and ran away.
Then a wonderful woman with a golden heart found him who runs temporary homes for rabbits from this place I would like to thank very much Mr. Małgorzata, who took care of the rabbit and thanks to whom he is now with us. Thank you also for the great patience with my questions. Thank you also to Julita, who made sure that the adoption was carried out in accordance with the procedures. Women like you are a treasure!
We also thank Gosia, who helped us transport Semir to the door. We couldn't have done it without you! The owners of the rabbit bothered about the offers of his escape, but after talking to them, it turned out that they had bought a new toy and were not interested in the previous rabbit.
Semir rabbit

I have long considered having a rabbit. I read the entire thumbnail of bezzjemjemnic.com from cover to cover. One day I came across a page with adoptions of rabbits run by SPK- Rabbit Aid Association. There I saw Boniface. I fell in love at first sight. Together with my fiance, we decided to adopt. We completed the adoption application and waited for a response. There were a few people willing, but the adoption conversation showed that we would get it. The most beautiful day in my life is the one when we went to pick up a pet. I was wondering all the way how everything would change now.

Bonifacy got a new name, which we think suits him better - Semir :) The animal has been with us for half a year, we have castration behind us, which was the most stressful event that we have behind us so far. Two removals are a pick, because our pet may not wake up. Fate, however, wanted differently, Semir is safe and sound with us.
I know that we could buy a rabbit in the store, but when we adopt a pet we have a wonderful little soul in our apartment that, God forbid, it could be elsewhere. Every day, thank you for being with us, even when he bites the bars of a cage at 4 in the morning like a possessed;) This story is not intended to promote SPK or anything. I am not affiliated with SPK (actually I am through adoption, but that's another matter);)
Dominika and Semir

I want to show you that a rabbit is not a toy, but also that through adoption you can help rabbits that really need your help. Many of them wait a long time for the new owner. Semir no longer needs help, but other rabbits from SPK do.

If you can't become a rabbit home, you can adopt virtuallyor become volunteers. Don't be afraid to help!
