Why don't Parisians get fat?

Perhaps you will think that in this post I will review the famous book Guiliano Mirelle (although I will mention the magic soup from leeks, the recipe of which you will find in this book), nevertheless today I want to raise the topic of the myth of Parisians and their magnificent figure, and I would like to share my thoughts about gaining weight, which has been bothering me for over a week. A perfect French figure

For years I lived in a magically created image of a beautiful Parisian woman with a Chanel purse on her shoulder and a perfect figure. Tell me which of you thinking about French people can't imagine a maple Coco Chanel in a small black string of pearls around the neck. I also perceived all French women through the prism of Coco. Only after reading the book The Whole Truth About French Women by Marie-Morgane Le Moël I began to wonder how the French chic overshadowed my real life.

Nobody is perfect and among French women we will also find women less well-groomed or also obese (because of which today we are talking). It is a myth that every Frenchwoman dresses a'la Coco Chanel and has the figure of Brigitte Bardot. Myth created by well-known fashion houses. A myth that admires hundreds of thousands of women around the world. As in every fairy tale, however, there is a grain of truth and you know what ... reading the book "The whole truth about French women" (this was imposed by testing vegan diet) it dawned on me. The key to a perfect figure is regular food.

Regular meals are a way to shape a slim figure

I have never been a fan of diets because I like to eat. Food for me is more than just a meal designed to provide nutrients necessary for life. I have learned to take deeper pleasure from eating, and to enjoy the taste and structure. I remember that I was on a diet only once - before the prom, because the idea came to me that if I was thinner, I would get back the boy I was after. As a result, we weren't together again, and Mama had to narrow my dress the day before my prom because she was too wide for me. Then I said enough. I decided that food would never rule me again.

As I mentioned earlier - the box diet overlapped reading a book about French women, and I finally understood why, despite the fact that French women often eat - they are slim. That's right ... the key word is "they often eat." When we were on the box diet, I had 5 meals a day for the first time in my life. For the first two days I couldn't change because we always ate 2-3 meals a day, of which we ate too little at work, and ate too much when we returned from work. After a few days, the box diet made me realize that I had made a huge mistake (and many women make them too). We eat too rarely and too large portions.

During the box diet test, the biggest meal was dinner. In contrast, breakfast, II breakfast and lunch were really small meals that were simply aimed at boosting metabolism. I felt the effects of this diet after a few days, when my body did not feel hunger caused by too rare meals in the wrong portions.

Start eating regularly and healthy

I'm not a dietitian, I don't know anything about nutrition, but I share my thoughts with you. Changing thinking about nutrition is not so simple. Very often, even though we think we eat healthy, we don't see any mistakes. I did not see them until I gave away on 2 weeks of nutrition to specialists. I recommend you test 5 food meals a day.

I never understood women who are slimming by eating very small portions and are furious all the time being on a diet because they are simply hungry. Believe me, fasting only gives effects for a moment. Anyway, I have seen girls who after a diet (for example, losing weight to a wedding) throw themselves at food. For me it's sick and misses the point. Of course, the effects will not be achieved without physical activity, but healthy habits are the first step to a slim figure.

Of course, once in a while I recommend detox with magical soup made of leeks from the book 'French don't get fat'. The recipe looks like this: 1 kg of leeks pour water. We do not season it! We bring to a boil, cook on low heat for 30 minutes. We drink a glass of decoction every 3 hours. As a meal, we eat leeks slightly sprinkled with lemon juice and olive oil. Season gently with salt and pepper.

Decoction of the pores is diuretic, so it cleanses the body. Leek is rich in nutrients and minerals, yet low in calories. We use magical pore detox 2x a year for 1,5 day. We start on Saturday morning and until noon on Sunday we only drink a decoction and eat time. On Sunday, we add 1 steamed vegetable to the season. On Monday we return to the normal diet.

I have not used this "diet" for some time why? out of laziness. Only. However, I intend to return to this lifestyle because paying attention to what I eat definitely felt better. Maybe it's the power of suggestion, or maybe there is something to it.
Why did I use quotation marks on the word diet? I don't think it's a diet, but rather a lifestyle. The effect of this food is not weight loss, but only being in harmony with your body and blood group.
There are a few things I can't give up: bananas, mayonnaise or ketchup from time to time. It's also hard for me to give up oranges, which often land with bananas in cocktails that I prepare.
When it comes to meat, I actually reach for poultry most often. I noticed that my body reacts negatively to another type.
