Skin types - part 2 mixed skin

Today is the time to describe to you how to care for combination skin - including mine. This is probably one of the worst types because it has two kinds of it - greasy i dry.

For me, oily, as in most cases it is in the "T" zone - beard, nose, forehead (which mercilessly glisten even after matting), there is also the most common acne. I have dry cheeks (the higher the eyes, the drier), acne is very rare here, but sometimes it also appears. This type of care is not easy, but I will try to explain everything to you so that you never have a problem with your complexion again. We begin :)
The first and most important cosmetic that must be found in the vanity case is a face wash gel for combination skin. It is important to wash your face with it at least twice a day. (I wash in the morning and evening, but during the day I wash my face with tonic). For washing, I do not recommend using water and soap, because the skin on the cheeks will be even more dry. The second cosmetic I have already mentioned is a tonic - it should be used after each washing and during the day.
As for the cream - mattifying day will be useful. There are several creams that I can recommend or advise against. Reviews can be found in the "Buzia" section. Once or twice a week it is worth applying a scrub. An enzyme peeling is recommended for this type of skin, which will not irritate dry skin on the cheeks, and at the same time remove the epidermis, cleanse and improve the appearance and condition of the skin. It is also worth to apply a mask for combination skin from time to time, which you can find in every drugstore.
Micellar liquid is recommended for make-up removal because it is lighter than make-up removal milk, however I use a lotion and do not see any deterioration of the skin (after wiping it with a tonic). When it comes to winter skin care - it is important to apply a heavier cream, but one that will protect your skin well. Fortunately, we don't have to worry about this for the next few months. However, I remind you about creams with UVA and UVB filters! :)

What you mustn't do if you have a complexion

- as I mentioned - you must not use water + soap for washing the face,
- eat hot spices, and also overdo it with stimulants,
- often use "granular" peels,
- use alcohol-based disinfectants (however, I recommend Afronis, which is great with my skin)

Horsetail mask

Pour a tablespoon of ground oatmeal and a tablespoon of ground horsetail over boiled water, add a few drops of cranberry juice to it. Leave the mask on 20 minutes, then wash it off with water.

Currant mask

Preparation of this mask is very easy! Blend or mash a handful of unripe currants, add a few drops of oil and now. You can put the mask on your face! After a few minutes, wash your face with warm water. After such a short treatment, the effect is amazing. Your skin is refreshed, smoother and brighter.

Skin types - part 1 oily skin

This note is at the request of the Sahiba reader. Sahiba asked for a mask suitable for her skin type. Of course, we talked outside the blog about what skin type it has. After doing a small interview, we came to the conclusion that her type is oily skin. At the beginning I would like to make a small introduction, because with this note I start a series of notes about skin types.

As you know, the skin is divided into several types:
- oily skin
On one of the social networks I asked if you know your skin type. See how the results looked.
Most of the voters have normal skin, but there were also people with oily skin to whom I also dedicate today's note. Oily skin most often found in young people who have problems with too much activity of the sebaceous glands. Regarding the characteristics - we can see the earthy color of the skin and enlarged pores, as well as the tendency to form subcutaneous lumps and breakouts.
This type is fat, less supplied with blood than other types, and also has a great predisposition to "shine". The upside is that this type is less sensitive to weathering. Despite this, it maintains elasticity longer, which lengthens the youthful appearance;) A huge mistake made by people with oily skin is using too much cosmetics that dry the skin. This is bad for the skin, because it can have the opposite effect to what we want to get - the skin may start to get more greasy. Creams containing more than 30% fat are also not recommended.
I do not know if you know my dear, that with this type is not recommended sunbathing on the beach or solarium? So what to use to properly care for oily skin? First of all, it is worth using cosmetics rich in zinc, copper and sulfur. Zinc cleanses the skin, copper and sulfur regulate sebum production. That is why it is worth to buy cosmetics rich in these elements.
As for the masks that Sahib asked for - a lot of masks that you will find in drugstores - for oily and acne-prone skin will be loved for you. It can be Perfecta pear mask, AVA series with green tea, or from Lirene. These are just examples, in the drugstore you will find a lot of cosmetics for your skin. If you like natural cosmetics, I recommend you make a mask perfect for your skin.

Mask with pansy

Pour a tablespoon of dried pansy and the same amount of dried horsetail in half a glass of hot water. We brew for 20 minutes. After this time, we add ground fresh yeast. Mix thoroughly. Apply the resulting mask on your face for 20 minutes. After this time, wash with boiled water.

Muesli mask with horsetail

Pour a tablespoon of oat flakes milled in a grinder with two tablespoons of an intense horsetail infusion (2 tablespoons dried in half a glass of boiling water), grind it to a mush. Then add a few drops of lemon juice, mix. Apply the mask thus prepared on the face for 20 minutes. After this time, wash with cooled, boiled water.

Yeast mask

Mix a tablespoon of yeast with boiled, cooled water. We add a teaspoon of squeezed lemon juice. Put the paste on your face and let it dry completely. Then we moisten the mask on the skin with moist fingertips for a few minutes. Finally rinse your face with cold water.
Of course, these are just examples of masks, many others can be found by browsing the Internet;) Sahibo, I hope that I helped you and my beloved readers who have oily skin.
In the near future part II - mixed skin.
