Everything you should know about brushing your hair

Henna Khadi is a natural method of dyeing hair as well as an alternative to chemical dyes. First time hair shavings I wrote on the blog in 2013 year. Since then I have been faithful to henna and apply the product itself 1-2 times a year. I especially remember to apply henna during the summer. The sun lightens my hair very much, that's why the natural color is turned up with Khadi henna.

Henna sticks to the hair, making it visually thicker. In addition, it nourishes and shines hair. After henna, however, there is often a slight drying of the hair, which is why I add a teaspoon of amla oil to the mixture. Thanks to this, my hair is not exposed to loss of moisture, in addition, the oil causes that the mixture does not dry out so quickly. I recommend this trick if you are not too familiar with hair henna.

How do you apply henna to your hair?

Applying henna alone is not the easiest one. The powder (henna) is mixed with hot water, I additionally add amla oil and then stir vigorously. The resulting mixture may not look very beautiful, and it does not smell good, but remember that it is a natural alternative to hair dyeing that does not damage them.

Apply Henna Khadi on washed and dried hair. Depending on how intense the shade is, we want to keep it from 30 minutes to even 2 hours. I usually keep henna on my hair under the Biovax mask for about 1,5 hours. You probably wonder why I put on a shower cap after applying henna - it is important to keep the mixture warm. After dyeing, thoroughly wash the henna with lukewarm water (without shampoo). We rinse the hair until the water does not have the color of henna.

It is best to apply henna to individual strands, and finally massage the remaining henna mixture into the hair and scalp. It's just easier.

What henna do I recommend?

I've been using henna Khadi for years. Most often I reach for dark brown or black. In my case, henna is washed out in 100% so you don't have to worry about regrowth, as in the case of traditional hair dyeing. Henna Khadi is a ready, powdered mixture that we apply to the hair. You don't have to play combining henna shades to get the right shade. At the Ekocuda natural cosmetics fair, I noticed my attention with henna

Henna dyeing of gray or bleached hair

With single gray hair, there is usually no problem with covering the gray color. Unfortunately, in the case of completely gray hair, the process is a little more difficult, because we have to apply two-stage dyeing - first we dye the hair with Khadi red henna, and only then with the desired color. Otherwise, the color we can get on the head will remind Ania of Green Hill's adventure with hair dyeing.

We can get the same effect on bleached hair. Generally, henna is best applied on natural hair, but if you want to apply a transition from chemical dyeing to natural, you must wait at least 3 months from the last dyeing and apply henna for a maximum of 15 minutes. In the case of bleached or heavily damaged hair, they may take on a green color, as if applying henna on gray hair.

The effect after henna the hair with khadi henna

Hair after applying henna may seem slightly dry. That is why it is important to apply a bit of your favorite oil to your hair after 24 hours. My favorite oil is amla, which not only nourishes, but also darkens the hair naturally (also delays the hair aging process).

After henna, the hair is visually thicker, less greasy, and above all, henna is a natural option to give your hair the desired color.
