A recipe for homemade chips just in time for Friday evening!

I like chips and although I try not to eat them too often, it happens to me. Unfortunately, the chips you buy are not the healthiest ones, and they are often not made of real potatoes. However, there is a way - homemade chips, which are very easy to prepare.

We need:
- 1 l water
- 4 tablespoons vinegar
- oil for frying (deep), depending on the pot (half a liter or liter)
- 5 medium potatoes
- a bowl with cold water
Wash the potatoes, do not peel them. We cut very thinly around 3-5 mm (preferably with a slicer or grater). Put into slices into a bowl of cold water. Rinse, leave for a while in cold water. During this time, we boil water with vinegar. Put the chopped potatoes in batches into boiling water. Blanching 4 minutes. After this time, put the potatoes in a strainer until the first water draining. Then drain the potatoes from the water on a paper towel (exactly!).
Pour oil into the pot, wait until it reaches the optimal temperature of about 170 degrees. Put the drained potatoes in hot oil (be careful not to burn yourself!) And fry until golden brown and crispy.
Put the ready potatoes in a bowl lined with a paper towel. Sprinkle the crisps with salt and your favorite spices. Enjoy your meal!
