Why is it not worth wearing acrylic hats?

In winter we have the same problem. Finding a hat or sweater with a good composition (at a good price) is almost a miracle. This year Piotr was looking for a hat again, but this time we told ourselves "no more acrylic hats".
Why is it not worth wearing them? Acrylic hats are usually very nice, as long as you can say something about hats (I'm not a fan of hats ...). For this they cause static hair and often the head sweats in them, which in turn does not lead to anything good. After removing the cap we can catch a cold, and even wearing such a hat is not pleasant, because the skin is sweating and, as a result, we are cold in the head.
I found however several wool products that are worth paying attention to. In winter, I love to wear wool, because it has thermal insulation properties (woolen clothes are simply warm), as well as hygroscopic - drains water (man does not sweat in woolen clothes). Minuses of wool must definitely include "biting" (that's why you should look for clothes with an addition, not 100% wool. Although I have in my closet a few 100% wool clothes that do not bite. It depends on the type of wool) .Below I chose for You have several products with good composition and a decent price. Pay special attention to hats, this season with tassel hats are very fashionable and very warm!

I haven't worn hats since last season. I bought emu earmuffsbecause my hair is covered after taking off the cap. Thanks to ear muffs my hair stays beautiful and I feel very warm.

I bought it in TK Maxx this year emu wool slippers. They were much cheaper than emu slippers, and they are very similar. I showed them on Instagram. I am very happy with them, because they are warm and my feet do not sweat. When I go outside, I remain faithful to my emu chocolate (now in version lo). Previous emu (emu paterson mini) I was able to sell, so I could add and buy longer ones. These medium lengths are perfect, but maybe someday I will be tempted to use longer ones. We'll see.

I'm also trying to buy wool hats 🙂

I hate hats :) I never wear them, when it is already very cold, I only use earmuffs, or hats, but rarely. Somehow I don't feel like wearing headgear 😀

Hehehe, I have a brilliant solution 😉 Because I don't wear hats at all 😀 Seriously, when I put on my hat, I feel as if all the lice lay on me, my head is sore and my face is terribly hot even in the cold - 20 C

I hate acrylic. It electrifies itself, man sweats in it. It's nice that you write about it, because when it comes to covering your head, it's also unhealthy. 😉

Great entry, I would not expect 😛

In fact, finding a decent hat at a reasonable price is a big challenge. I dream of a cashmere scarf and hat ... maybe someday 😉 greetings 🙂

Piotr in December found a nice cashmere scarf in Tchibo 🙂 I also recently saw on the website that they have a women's cashmere set (sold very quickly).

I hate acrylic caps because of this amazing static. Every time I take off my hat, I look like she has a closer encounter with electricity - mascara.

How do I know it ... in the winter my hair gets electrified (the way to do this is a dryer with ionization! But if I don't dry my hair, it's a nightmare).

Thank you !!! :))) We had the impression that nobody noticed, because nobody says anything is it better / worse, hehe

After my adventure with washing a wool sweater and shrinking in size 2, I have to wonder if it deserves such luxury as a woolen hat.

On the Kameralna blog I saw a beautiful wool scarf, but it costs almost 400 PLN. Quality costs, it's true.

I recently watched that the best wool is from alpacas 🙂! 3 times warmer and very cute 🙂

And today I bought a acrylic hat: P. I found out that I am fed up with searching for the perfect hat, because it does not exist, and in Wroclaw there have recently been awfully crackling frosts, so there is nothing to be forgiven: P.

However, in the future I have to buy a woolen hat :).

If it's a must, it's a must. It is also very cold in Gdańsk ... for me it could be warm all year, except for Christmas and New Year's Eve - then it could be snow 🙂

I have also changed. I think I didn't feel the cold once, and the older I get, the more I feel cold.

Emu are irreplaceable. I bet on patersons because they are 100% waterproof 🙂

It is true. Such hats are throwing money away. Once again, the principle "save money and buy something better" works.

  14. Avatar Margaretka 4 January 2016 / 15: 27

For me, without a hat in winter, never move, I like big, woolen, even if they bite a bit 🙂

    • Avatar goodforyoudp@gmail.com 4 January 2016 / 15: 54

I, with my allergy, couldn't stand a woolen hat that bites. I would scratch myself to death 😀

  15. Avatar Magda Shinybraidd 4 January 2016 / 13: 59

I used to think about such shoes, but some time ago I bought boots and dissuaded myself from this idea. In winter, I also wear only ear muffs, because after the hat my hair is always in a deplorable condition. 🙂

    • Avatar goodforyoudp@gmail.com 4 January 2016 / 14: 45

I wore glans centuries ago but I don't plan to go back to them.
      Ear pads rule! :)

  16. Avatar Addicted Shopaholic 4 January 2016 / 13: 39

Emu is my must have for the winter! Since I bought them for the first time, I think 5 years ago, I can't imagine the cold without them. Although my husband would prefer me not to wear them 😀

    • Avatar goodforyoudp@gmail.com 4 January 2016 / 14: 31

Piotr has already got used to it, although he has also recently heard something about the appearance of emu. Also, ask your husband if he prefers you to look super sexy and complain every 3 seconds that you're cold? I think I know what the answer will be, Hahaha 😀
