Why do you need to drink water after waking up?

I have been practicing drinking water immediately after waking up for several weeks. In today's post I will answer the question why it is worth practicing. I can see for myself that it pays off and for sure your skin will quickly reward you for it.

How to check if your body is dehydrated?

When you start noticing that your skin is dry and your face is pinched - it's a sign. A sign that says your body is dehydrated. This is one of the signs, because the others are e.g. tiredness or frequent headaches. Do you know that a glass of water often helps with a headache? This is not a myth, I tested it myself, not once.

How to fight dehydration?

As I wrote at the beginning of the post, I have been practicing a very simple method for the first hydration for several weeks. Do you know that our body dehydrates during sleep? Therefore, immediately after waking up should drink a glass of water. Apparently, it is also good to drink a glass before bed, but as Piotr laughs - my bladder is the size of a peanut and drinking a glass of water before bed would end up spending the whole night in the toilet.

If you start drinking more water because a glass of water in the morning does not solve the problem of dehydration, you may notice a rash at first. This is a normal body cleansing process. After a while, the skin will begin to normalize and look better. Interestingly, this applies not only to acne, but also to wrinkles and skin tightness. If the skin is properly moisturized, wrinkles become less visible.

I don't like water! What to do?

If you do not like the taste of water, you can diversify its taste by throwing a slice of lemon or a few leaves of fresh mint into the glass. Over time, it will definitely get better and although you may like the taste more than once, noticing the effects of regular drinking of water and its appropriate amount, you will reach for it more often.

    I agree with the author. Drinking water is very important. Since I regularly drink mineral water in the morning and young at work, I feel better, work more efficiently and see an improvement in the appearance of the skin and complexion. Not to mention that I lost weight.

    I always drink a glass of water after waking up 🙂 Stimulates me to act. He drinks water all day - about 2 liters in total. I can see that my skin is tense thanks to this, but also properly hydrated. I used to have a problem with dry skin - but that's a thing of the past 🙂

      This is a very good habit. During the summer season, I drink ordinary, filtered water. In autumn and winter I exchange it for water with linden honey or lemon (and often there is both).

    I don't use any application, I think that you need to listen to your body and drink it whenever you feel like it. At my desk at work, I have a bottle of Cisowka up my sleeve so that I won't be tempted down to the canteen to drink carbonated drinks. It is known that in the winter you want to drink less, in the summer more.

      It is easier for me because I know how much water I have drunk and how much else I need to drink. Are you sure you drink the right amount of water? Unfortunately, our body doesn't always tell us well. The more that if you want to drink it means that you are not properly hydrated and your body is asking for water.

      For me it has nothing to do with the time of year. I drink water or green tea in the summer and various teas in the winter. Of course, in summer, you need to drink more water in hot weather.

    Some time ago I decided to drink more water. I have always drunk large amounts of green tea, but I learned that unfortunately this is not enough. Currently, I try to drink 2 liters of water a day and it turns out that it is not easy at all. A phone application that sends notifications about drinking should be very useful.
    I can only drink large amounts of water until 18, because later I would have to spend the whole night in the toilet 😀

      Green tea is very tasty and healthy, but I read somewhere that you can't overdo it too. It's true, drinking plenty of water is not so easy. I use the Water your body application, about which I wrote on a blog once. It is very simple and works best with me.
