Poles' culinary struggles. How much time do we devote to the passion of cooking?

I love cooking. In contrast to baking ... I am a champion in making noodles. Cooking relaxes me and stimulates creativity. Piotr always laughs that I can do something out of nothing, although my experiments are not always successful. I often show my kitchen experiments on ours Instagram profile, I usually cook with you on Insta Stories. The following post was created in cooperation with the Beko brand. Cooking - a daily duty or fulfilling kitchen passions every day? Thanks to the Great Beko Research, we can see how Poles feel about cooking and how much time they spend in the kitchen.

Revolutions in the home kitchen

Cooking at home is undoubtedly a great saving of money. A survey by the Beko brand reveals that around 80% of Poles prepare meals in their kitchen at least 5 times a week. It also turns out that they are passionate about kitchen struggles. 76% of respondents declare that they love or like to cook, and 13% respondents assess preparing meals as their hobby. Most of Poles (58%) devotes to cooking from 45 minutes to 1,5 hours a day. Poles like to eat homemade meals. Do they do it for the sake of saving? Or maybe it is important to prepare meals from the heart, from ingredients that we know and like?

How to improve your kitchen operations? Induction technology is the method that is responsible for the exceptional speed of prepared dishes with minimal input of electricity. Beko hobs are equipped with a Timer function, thanks to which you can set the time so that the cooking zone turns off when you decide - even if you are not around.

Without limits

Poles are also home baking enthusiasts - baking cakes declares once a week 28% respondents. Do pastries mainly serve guests? The survey shows that most Poles organize events in the flat rather rarely, because only a few times a year (55%). While 10% respondents often make house parties - at least once a week.
Beko - the official partner of all gourmands - thought about those who without a delicious piece of cheesecake or apple pie can't imagine the day. How to prepare dinner and something tasty for sweet lovers at the same time? Technology Beko Split & Cook makes it possible to divide the chamber into two separate, independent parts. Thanks to this, you can prepare two completely different dishes at the same time when choosing different temperatures, heat sources and with different baking times.
For example, you can bake pasta casserole for dinner, and delicious muffins for dessert. In addition, neither flavors nor smells are mixed! In this way, the kitchen no longer limits anything but the imagination. Those who prefer Mediterranean flavors can take advantage of the function Beko Pizza Pro, thanks to which the oven heats up to 310 degreesand homely but professional You can bake a pizza in just 5 minutes.

Cookie? Bless you!

Is a vegetarian diet in the world of carnivores problematic, and cooking takes more time for vegetarians than for those who do not give up meat? It may seem so to us. Meanwhile, vegetarian responses are unbelievably coincident with how non-vegetarians respond. It takes roughly the same time for both groups to cook, and most people in both groups agree that they cook every day. The only issue where the answers differ is about baking cakes. Non-vegetarians they take baking more often: they bake on average once a week (28%). For comparison, it bakes just the same 21% vegetarians
Preparing meals is a very important activity in the lives of Poles. This is not just a daily home duty, but also a form of realizing your passions - cooking and eating.

I love to bake bread and I have a proven oven recipe. However, since I have a bread machine, I usually make bread in a machine.

Interesting. 🙂 Generally, most people like to cook and cook. In this study, I do not yet have a division into those who cook healthy and those for whom cooking is reheating ready-made semi-finished products.

We like cooking, but we do it less and less at home, or we cook for 2-3 days. We try to limit sugar and fat, that's why we bake little. Sometimes I prefer to buy 1 or 2 pieces of cake, then I don't have to eat the whole cake mold, delicious but very calorie. And I already liked Beko some time ago, when I bought a new washer-dryer. I even boasted about it on my blog.

Instead of white sugar, I have been using coconut or birch sugar for some time. They are great and healthier substitutes, and baked goods do not lose their taste.

We dream of a real washer-dryer, maybe someday 🙂

Personally, I don't like cooking. As long as I lived with my parents, my mother always made sure that we had a warm dinner and such, but since I live alone I don't cook almost at all. I started eating out and it probably mainly contributed to the arrival of a couple of extra kilos.

I can't imagine eating all the time in the city. Mainly due to the fact that we have some restrictions on places due to our diet. In addition, I do not always like the way of seasoning dishes in restaurants, because too often pepper is added (I do not like this spice and I do not use almost at all).

Costs are another argument - eating out in good quality places is simply expensive.
